Pura Vida.

To the Costa Rican locals, this simple articulation is much more than a phrase – it’s a way of life. Literally translating to “pure life”, this dense expression is an ideology introduced from birth and fully embodied with complete, conscious awareness throughout everyday lifestyle.

To possess nothing, yet have everything can only satiate the soul to the extent that it does in this tiny Central American country and the estimated 4,700 attendees fully embraced this notion.

There is no “festival crowd” quite like the family that is the pulse of Envision.

Getting to Uvita is no easy endeavor, but one that will prove extensively rewarding. This isn’t your typical downtown festival where you can snag a ticket on Craigslist and simply jump in an Uber.

Attending Envision requires an unprecedented level of commitment and response to a universal beckoning. The result? Thousands of passionate and like-minded, yet completely eccentric, individuals whose level of appreciation for the experience is entirely unprecedented.

From the cohabitation with the local community to the hundreds of volunteer hours selflessly dedicated to erecting the stages and structures from locally-sourced bamboo, everything surrounding Envision is instilled with purpose.

To solely classify Envision as a music festival would be an injustice to the event. Though you are guaranteed to be rewarded with some of the most consciously aware, purposeful electronic and live music and raunchiest West Coast bass productions (everyone catch that ant-ten-nae set?), the ongoing passionate performances by musicians are a secondary celebration to the overarching agenda of the community behind Envision.

Nothing about Envision is an accident.

A long-term lease with the venue meant that much of the fruit available at the village is actually grown on site throughout the year. Daily panels on sustainability, yoga workshops led by prominent teachers from around the globe, and surf lessons with local instructors on the adjacent beach allow you to fully connect with the environment.

Envision Festival is truly one of the most spellbinding music festival experiences on the planet.

Prepare to have your consciousness rattled, your heart fulfilled, and your cellular composition rearranged by the absolutely filthy musical performances that awaken the jungle after the sun recedes into its equatorial slumber.

It is said that when you stop seeking the answers, the answers will find you. This gathering is a platform for finding your higher purpose and allowing those answers to begin subtly seeping in.

…and partying in the Costa Rican Rainforest with the sunsets bombing into the Pacific Ocean is pretty damn cool. Tickets for Envision 2017 are now on sale and can be purchased here. If ever there was a music festival to add to your bucket list, this is it. Don’t sleep on grabbing your tickets, as the event is expected to sell out.
