The user-generated content that floods the forums is brutally honest, which can either be really bad, or awesome when it comes to subjects of substance such as literature, history, and music.
To commemorate what was a great year in the world of EDM, the folks at /r/ElectronicMusic voted on the best EDM albums, songs, and artists of the year. Results were compiled analyzing total points after voters placed three choices in each category. First place votes received 3 points, second place 2 points, and third place 1 point. The totals were then graphed with Jamie XX, Madeon, Skrillex, and Diplo dominating the charts.
