There’s a new festival coming to Florida, and it’s shaping up to be a game-changer.

The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is set to head to Okeechobee, Florida from Friday, March 4 through Sunday, March 6, 2016 and will feature 80+ bands and DJs from around the musical spectrum.

While many details are still yet-to-be released, promoters have announced that they will play host a lineup similar to festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo. Bringing in artists from the classic rock, indie, electronic, and folk genres, event organizers have their sights set high for the first year festival.

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will be held on an 848-acre site and play host to 5 stages.

Preliminary details have been released about an on-site beach and swimming area, and plans are underway for both beach and jungle stages on the grounds.

According to festival organizers, Soundslinger, LLC (who’s past credits include Bonnaroo, Outside Lands and China’s STORM Electronic Music Festival), the lineup is slated for release around mid-October.

We can’t wait.
