Crazy Double’s music is the sort that gets even the most introverted of partygoers out on the dancefloor. With a sound that could be described as a love child between LMFAO and Daddy Yankee , this duo has the perfect DNA to make a summer party track. The interesting twist? They both have an almost elite music resume. You have Vitaly, who is a certified academic of music as well as an internationally renowned accordionist and jazz performer.
And, then you have Olisa, a songwriter/producer/rapper/composer/singer/music aficionado that was actually chosen to be included on Michael Jackson’s official tribute album. The impressive resume of both halves of the duo cause you to see their party music has slightly more nuanced than you otherwise would have.
This all starts to make sense when you try and figure out exactly what genre their music is. Electronic? Raggaeton? Trap? Hip Hop? Pop? Their myriad of influences and genre-crossing is a manoevuer that can really only be done (successfully) by musicians with a trained musical ear (as they have both proven to have).
The unique and eclectic backgrounds that they bring to their craft makes me want to relive my party days even more. Crazy Double has proven that they are more than meets the eye so I look forward to seeing what else these two have up their sleeves.
