After announcing his Summer 2014 Mothership Tour, releasing his latest album Recesslanding the cover on Rolling Stone, and being announced as a headliner at multiple festivals including Bonnaroo, Skrillex has landed in Rolling Stone’s ’50 Greatest Live Acts Right Now,’ the only EDM producer to receive a nod.

Landing the 42 spot, Moore is sandwiched between psychadelic jam band Tame Impala and Folk/Indie Rock icons Mumford and Sons. Others sneaking their way in to the rankings include Jay-Z, Radiohead, Tom Petty, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Bruno Mars. Topping the list is The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen.

As EDM continues to expand, it’s good to see producers starting to get some love. It seems that prestigious media outlets have been starting to take notice lately. Expect this list to be laden with more familiar faces come this time next year.
