When it comes to transformational music festivals, Shambhala leads the way.
The longest running electronic dance music festival in Canada, Shambhala has been calling festival goers seeking a like changing pilgrimage since 1998. The self sustaining festival is completely put on by volunteers, free of sponsorship and corporate interference. Just to put it into perspective, more than 7,000 people were fed from 4 cows that were raised at the Salmo River Ranch.
Those who attended the gathering this year may have noticed a helicopter flying around throughout the majority of the weekend. No, it wasn’t the government. This chopper was part of a camera crew that documented the event from start to finish.
Thanks to their efforts, the official afterstory will be making its premiere on October 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM PST.
