Think your Halloween plans are a bust because of COVID restrictions? Think again. ReVibe Wellness Retreat is taking place in Myrtle Beach on Halloween Weekend with a lineup that EDM fans are drooling over.
This festival is one of a kind considering attendees watch performances from their private ocean front hotel balcony at Doubletree by Hilton. Let’s dive a little deeper into what the event has to offer.
The lineup is split into two stages that offer different genres. The Frequency stage is more geared towards fans of weird bass. To put it simply… if you’re attracted to more heavy, experimental and abstract sounds this is where you should be. Headliners are none other than Buku, Mersive, Truth and Shlump. You’ll find the undercard is just as enticing with the likes of Wreckno, A Hundred Drums, Angelic Root, Brightside, Choppy Oppy and more.
The Vibe stage is just how it sounds. More mellow overall, but music that’s memorable and ensures a good time. You can catch plenty of soulful bass artists such as Manic Focus, SoDown, Break Science ft. Alvin Ford Jr. and Michal Menert. Alvin Ford Jr. is the drummer from Dumpstaphunk and frankly he is just incredible. Prepare yourselves for a wild ride during his set with Break Science. Honorable mentions for additional Vibe Stage performances include Russ Liquid, Artifakts, Daily Bread and Jason Leech.
As a ReVibe attendee you’re able to choose which stage your balcony faces. Meaning whatever stage lineup you prefer is where your room will be located, and where you’ll be spending most of your weekend. There is an option to buy a COVID friendly ground level booth at the opposing stage. It does come at an extra cost, but well worth it if there’s artists on both stages you want to see. ReVibe has also released single day tickets for those who can’t attend both days.
Cliffhanger Productions and Zeal Collective have been working closely with Hilton staff, local authorities and code enforcement to ensure a safe event for all involved.
In addition to ensuring proper safety precautions during and between sets, additional methods will be enforced. These include mandatory masks throughout the property, proper social distancing and taking temperatures at check-in.
Overall, this seems to be the most well planned and thought out event we’ve seen since COVID has completely flipped the industry on its head. Now it’s just time for the ReVibe team to execute.
We have no doubts with the amount of planning that has gone into this that this will be the moment we’ve all been waiting for. A chance to celebrate amongst friends with music that surrounds so many of our lives will always find a way to prevail even when it seems hope has been lost. You have the ReVibe team to thank for that this time around.
