GA and VIP ticket and camping packages for Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2022 will be available for purchase during a limited time pre-sale beginning this Thursday, June 3 at 12:00 p.m. ET at www.okeechobeefest.com.
“After this long year, I couldn’t be more excited to return to Sunshine Grove and be back in nature with all my Okeechobee friends and fam,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac Events. “This festival is all about music, camping out, and making s’mores while dancing in a jungle, grass fields, and on a beautiful beach. It was the last festival I attended before the pandemic hit so I can’t wait to be back!”
“It’s been quite a difficult 14 months for all of us, especially everyone in the live event mass gathering community,” said Rechulski, Soundslinger’s Founder. “I hope that music can once again shine as a beacon of light and hope and bring us a much needed distraction. I’m just glad to be back and have the chance to do what I love the most!”
Following the 2019 partnership announcement between Insomniac Events and Soundslinger, OMF 2020 took place March 5-8, 2020 and was one of the world’s last music festivals and mass gatherings to successfully take place prior to the COVID-19 pandemic global shutdown. More than 30,000 festival goers were immersed into the world of Okeechobee Fest, a festival journey that is unique to any other event in the US. The 2020 festival’s eclectic lineup featured performances from world-renowned artists including Rüfüs du Sol, Vampire Weekend, Mumford & Sons, Machine Gun Kelly, Kaskade, Glass Animals and more.
With four successful festivals held since 2016, OMF has quickly risen to one of the most sought after creative and cultural events in the Southeast U.S. To date, OMF has featured more than 425 multi-genre performing artists, curated to feature the biggest acts in electronic music, rock & roll, funk, jam bands, hip-hop and more. At the center of the portal each year is a conscious effort to operate in a way that enables like-minded festival goers to come together and create lifelong memories and experiences that transcend beyond each OMF event. Keeping Mother Earth in mind, Okeechobee Fest takes steps every year of increasing going green and implements recycling initiatives while raising awareness through the leave no trace initiative. Okeechobee Fest proudly partners with HeadCount every year to feature local nonprofits onsite at HeadCount’s Participation Row and to help give back in the community.
Returning features of OMF for the 2022 festival include some of the most sought after artists and performers taking stage in the lush setting of The Grove, as well as the return of Aquachobee Beach’s daytime performances and parties, plus Jungle 51’s dusk-till-dawn dance party nestled in the heart of the jungle, and Chobeewobee Village’s iconic pop-up performances, bustling bazaar and craft food destination.
