EDC Las Vegas completed its 20th year anniversary this past weekend and saw some of the best production in the festival’s history. Festival goers had the opportunity to experience a brand new redesigned landscape filled with new stages, firework displays every night, and a stellar lineup.
With so many things to do and so many places to be, it’s sometimes difficult for attendees to decide on a set schedule and end up wandering the festival. Let’s be honest, activations are usually an immediate skip; why go to a sponsored small tent with overpriced drinks when you can just enjoy the rest of the festival with a better view and better sound?
This year, EDC Las Vegas teamed up with Jägermeister to bring the Haus 56, the most unique and creative activation we have ever seen. If you were lucky enough to visit Haus 56, then you know it was truly the place to be. Designed as a huge treehouse, it was a place to take a breather without missing a second of the party.
Haus 56 served as an oasis in the middle of EDC for attendees.
We all know how swamped sold-out festivals can get and for that reason, there should be a place where you can enjoy yourself without the bombardment of a crowd. Ice cold shots, cocktails, and DJs came together under one roof made of antlers.
The treehouse featured experiences such as:
- A special concert viewing deck allowing a panoramic view of the festival.
- Uniquely crafted cocktails that used Jägermeister in only the best ways.
- Great music with multiple DJs.
- Photo booth to capture your favorite moments.
- Porch swing
- Temporary tattoo station
- Jewelry making station
- A slide to exit the tree house and land right at the CircuitGrounds.
As a warm up, Jägermeister hosted a special pre-party at the SLS Hotel in Las Vegas.
The media were treated to a private penthouse party before the festival began to showcase what the activation would be like. A chance to try out their new cocktails and a party bus that dropped us off on festival grounds were only a fraction of what they brought to the table.
Speaking of, the tables at the party featured the brand’s stag logo but were drawn with Jägermeister’s signature 56 spices and herbs.
Jägermeister partnered with Live Nation to provide a cohesive connection between the brand and EDM.
Marcus Thieme, Chief Marketing Officer at Sidney Frank Importing Company, Inc. states:
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the world’s leading live entertainment company, Live Nation, to launch our largest event marketing initiative to date in the United States… Consumers attending these six dance music festivals will be able to experience Jägermeister like never before by discovering its heritage and quality through a fully immersive, multi-sensory environment.”
Jägermeister even let us in on some recipes for their amazing cocktails.
