Last weekend’s Hudson Project will live in music festival lore, for better or for worse. The first two days saw many an artist absolutely throw down including Keys N Krates, STS9, Flying Lotus, Big Gigantic, and GRiZ. Though Bassnectar (and others) having to cancel their sets and over 1,000 cars getting stuck in the mud, the vibe was overwhelmingly positive.
Despite the third day being cancelled due to inclement weather attendees at what has come to be known as The Mudson Project decided to make the best of a damp situation. After the lightning subsided those in attendance turned the camping ground in to an impromptu mudslide, bellowing chants of “U.S.A., U.S.A” and incantations of Biz Markie’s “Just A Friend.”
One festival-goer was not going to let New York rain on his parade and busted out his GoPro to document the aftermath of the storm that rolled through on Sunday afternoon.
