You have likely seen the recent release of the Coachella 2017 lineup. If so, you are aware of the exciting and familiar names that will be headlining this year like Beyonce, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar.
Although, you probably will not find me front row for those shows there is a lot of other acts I am highly looking forward to. Have you taken the time to peruse the large number of electronic artists that will be performing?
Let’s dissect this year’s lineup specifically looking at the plethora of phenomenal DJ’s and producers that will be gracing the stages at this year’s festival, that I will be front row for.
Electronic dance is highly represented on day 1 with top acts including electronic duo Empire of the Sun, widely acclaimed LA based DJ and producer Dillon Francis and past member of Swedish House Mafia Steve Angello. In addition, Big Gigantic, a group that combines jazz, hip hop, live instruments and electronic beats, will also be performing.
Also, you cannot overlook, Sam Gellaitry, Bonobo and Nora En Pure and we can’t forget SNBRN who will bring about some trap and deep house feels.

One artist I am personally more than excited to see for the first time live is Mura Masa, a British electronic artist that specializes in trap.
For all those deep house fans out there, Hot Since 82 is on the lineup, a tech and deep house producer from the UK, along with Classixx a nu-disco deep house DJ duo from LA. Other electronic favorites for this day include Gryffiin, and electronic trio Autograf.
Here is a taste of Mura Masa to get you pumped for the second day:
The last day of Coachella is packed with electronic artists of all types. You can hear future house and progressive trap beats produced by Marshmello, enjoy ever-so-relaxing vibes from Jai Wolf or bounce to some What So Not.
Winding down three days of music with Porter Robinson and Madeon may be the best part of the festival.

The artists I’ve listed are only some of the announced groups, DJ’s and producers. In addition, Coachella is known for having surprise appearances by guest artists and the lineup for the Do LaB Stage and the Heineken tent have yet to be announced. Who knows what other heavy hitters we have to look forward to.
