From December 26th, 2023 to January 3rd, 2024, the music & wellness festival Réveillon Carneiros will take over the idyllic beaches of Pernambuco for an immersive experience showcasing The Brazilian Dream. Spanning thirteen events in eight days, the all-inclusive destination festival will feature performances from world-renowned acts across electronic music. The New Year’s celebration will also include yoga, meditations, art installations, and an open bar and food for all attendees – making it a hotspot for music lovers and global nomads alike.
By day, Reveillon Carneiros’ celebrations will take place at the Mouton Beach Club. Festival-goers can experience oceanfront live and electronic performances from Abracadabra label-owner BLOND:ISH, French-duo Birds of Mind, South African pioneer Black Coffee, and more. World-renowned Brazilian natives will also take the stage at Mouton including singer/songwriter Silva, reggae band Natiruts, renowned pop singer Nattan, and the internationally acclaimed electronic act, Vintage Culture. The sun-soaked parties will set the scene ahead of the evening lasting 3 PM to 10 PM.
By night, the programming will continue down the beach for a full open bar, all-you-can-eat-buffet, and twenty-five performances which will continue on until dawn. Lineup highlights include Dutch electronic duo ANOTR, Brazilian chanteur Saulo, experimental-pop trio WhoMadeWho, and All Day I Dream founder Lee Burridge. The billing continues on with Brazilian-funk artist Dennis, Canadian duo Bob Moses (Club Set), French producer Folamour, and a special closing performance from Keinemusik (&ME, Rampa, Adam Port) under their iconic Kloud stage design. Each night, the festival stages will take on new forms, allowing for different visual experiences over the course of the event.
For its seventh edition, Réveillon Carneiros also provides wellness and cultural practices in breathtaking locations during the course of the festival. Villa Mouton will serve as the heart of Carneiros’ atmosphere offering the facilities and practicalities that the public needs during festivities – from wellness to food, art, clothing, spas, hair salons, and barbershops. Self-care activities can be found across three hubs: Rituaus, Vidya, and Mangue Gym.
Each hub includes programming such as cacao dance flows, natural ice baths, breathing meditations, sound healings, and the workshops “Saying Hello To My Future” and “Burning In The Sacred Fire”. At Rituaus, guests can attend meditations, breathing techniques, and holistic rituals in order to bring balance to the mind and body. Vidya provides moments of complete renewal for those seeking physical balance with multiple yoga course offerings. Lastly, the Mangue Gym keeps the energy flowing with a training jungle and sandy beach volleyball court.
Réveillon Carneiros is a party but goes way beyond this. The festival’s entire project is planned with sustainability in mind. Their mission is to care for the environment, respect the ecosystem, and improve the ways of life through acts and projects that last. Each year, the festival targets different pillars of sustainability including Waste Management, Energy Management, Biodiversity, and Renewable Energy. They also annually partner with The Garis Marítimos Institute with beach cleaning, environmental education, and monitoring of turtle nests – which is essential to preserve marine life.
