In the past few weeks, Electric Forest has released Phase 1 of 2023’s lineup along with fully selling out through Loyalty and General Admission ticket sales.

For many of us who are set to return ‘home’ to Sherwood Forest, we can breathe a sigh of relief after stresses regarding loyalty issues leading up to the start of pre-sales. For those who don’t know, EF switched ticketing providers, this transfer caused weeks of loyalty commotion, as many had to diligently work to get their codes in time for sales, as a result to these issues; EF extended loyalty sales before General Sales to give all Loyalty Family a chance to claim their guaranteed passes.
For others, it didn’t take long for General Admission sales to sell out, with many ticket and camping options already claimed to loyalty. With incessant blooming interest in Electric Forest, and having such a large returning yearly community, it makes for a very high strung purchasing process for many. It seems that after Electric Forest added an additional weekend in 2017 and 2018; allowing for 80,000 capacity over two weekends, then returned to one weekend in 2019 to preserve the forest; this spiked demand that has contributed to rapid ticketing sell outs every year since.
This year we saw a noticeable price increase as well as new ticketing requirements around car camping. While it seems to have caused much commotion within the community on social media, it’s not so much of a surprise to many. Inflation increases have spiked the cost of just about everything; with the over-the-top production, along with all of the spirit, love, and the insanely fine-tuned experience Electric Forest brings; along with the festival aiming to better and better ever year, we can only respect and appreciate the opportunity to return to our happiest place on earth.
The effort put into creating this one of a kind fantasy like environment is infinite. Countless talented beings put their heart and soul into making our paradise a reality for just a few fleeting days, and it is immensely felt and appreciated.
For those that weren’t able to secure their tickets, the Official Ticket Exchange has now opened it’s waiting lists! Jumping on the list earlier gives you until June to work your way though the line! This was a success for many last year as we neared the festival weekend!
