15. Bomba Estéreo, ‘Amanecer’
Bomba Estéreo has dominated the Hispanic EDM scene for the past few years, but took their production to a whole new level this year with the release of Amanecer. Their 2015 release took a departure from the introspective, laid back feel of their 2013 album, Elegancia Tropical, by featuring tropical bass hits. Their song “Soy Yo” was also chosen for FIFA 2016’s soundtrack.
16. Jack Ü, ‘Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü’
The EDM world has never seen a collaboration album like this before. This album is a stellar culmination of the hottest styles of music right now. The superduo was able to elevate EDM music by tapping into some of the hottest pop artists like Justin Bieber and hip-hop rising star 2 Chains, among others. Throw this album on at any party and get ready to lose yourself in a medley of upbeat jams that are surely a prelude to the 2016 Festival season.
