Tokyo will be an honorary host of Electric Daisy Carnival this coming April 29th-30th. At the Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Beach Park along the coast of Japan, there will be a massive gathering of loving people full of imagination and skill. I can only try to image what Insomniac and the tech savvy Japanese community will fabricate for this EDC.

EDC has been all over the United States as well as, South America and Europe. Now it is time for the festival to explore the continent of Asia and the Japanese culture.
For two beautiful nights, festival goers will be treated to world-renowned DJs, innovative art installations, wicked carnival rides, and love.
Before you take the journey Far East, I recommend reading up on the culture. Here are a few phrases translated into Japanese that should help make your experience even more impactful:
- “I love you” translated: “Aishiteru”: pronounced “ay-she-tay-ee-roo”
- “Hello, how are you?” translated: “Ossu, O-genki desu ka?”
- “Peace” translated: “Heiwa“: pronounced “Hey-wah”
- “Love” translated: “Aikou“
- “Unity” translated: “Danketsu“
- “Respect” translated “Sonkei“
