Deep Tropics Music Festival, renowned for its celebration of culture, community, and sustainability, is thrilled to announce the addition of two exceptional artists, Zingara and Tape B, joining previously announced headliners Kaskade, RL Grime, Sofi Tukker, and PEEKABOO. This exciting expansion further solidifies Deep Tropics’ commitment to providing an inclusive platform for the most buzzworthy talent while fostering a vibrant sense of community within the electronic music scene.
Growing up as a dancer, Zingara’s passion for music and flow runs deep. With a keen ear and hunger for sonic innovation, she’s redefining the boundaries of bass by connecting her love for music and the spirit realm, making her a perfect addition to the Lotus stage. On the other hand, Tape B has garnered immense recognition both in studio and live, delivering performances that are nothing short of magical. Blending diverse influences into his own unique sonic palette, Tape B crafts music that’s both timeless and forward-thinking, bridging the gap between past and future while always keeping the bass front and center.
Beyond the music, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in enriching dialogues on topics such as regenerative agriculture, sustainable fashion, renewable energy, and holistic wellness practices. The festival provides a platform for fostering connections and sharing knowledge, empowering attendees to become agents of positive change within their communities. From thought-provoking discussions to immersive experiences like yoga, meditation, and sound healing, Deep Tropics offers a holistic approach to community-building and personal growth. It’s a gathering where individuals come together not only to celebrate music but also to cultivate a deeper sense of belonging and collective responsibility towards a more sustainable and harmonious future.
Additionally, Deep Tropics will host a Sustainability Summit on August 15th, curated by their non-profit organization Deep Culture. The Summit is a convergence bringing together industry professionals, government officials and engaged citizens across diverse sectors to connect, inspire and showcase regenerative solutions. Furthermore, there will be a Deep Culture Amphitheater Experience to kick off the second day of the festival on August 17th, featuring a transformative set curated by DJ Drez. From breathwork and yoga to meditation and dance, attendees will embark on a journey of self-discovery and connection.
Through Deep Culture, Deep Tropics has successfully diverted the majority of festival waste from landfills and achieved remarkable diversion rates as high as 96%. The Carbon footprint is offset through global and local tree-planting initiatives. 2024 partnerships include Ancient Nutrition’s R.A.N.C.H. Project, Trees for The Future, Tennessee Riverkeeper and of course the wonderful team at Bicentennial Capitol State Park.
Deep Tropics is curated and produced by the forward-thinking team at Full Circle Presents, who have played an integral role in building and establishing a scene for electronic dance music enthusiasts in the Music City. More than just a music festival, Deep Tropics embodies a celebration of culture, community, and a profound dedication to preserving the beauty of our planet.
