Festival Information:
Located on the New Orleans Riverfront, the Buku Music and Art Project was founded in 2012 by Winter Circle Productions. Creating a unique blend of local music, hip-hop, and electronic, the New Orleans based promotions company sought to create a more intimate festival setting than traditional festivals. The first festival held in 2012 was headlined by Wiz Khalifa and Skrillex, selling over 8,000 tickets. The 2013 festival sold out over 12,000 tickets and featured Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, Major Lazer, Calvin Harris, Flux Pavilion, and more.
