Ultra Music Television has released a video recap of the first day in conjunction with 7UP and it gives a snippet of what was a resoundingly successful kickoff to the three days of festivities. Good vibes and good music overwhelmed Bayfront Park for what was an EDM lover’s paradise with a buffet of choices to satiate any genre aficionado’s appetite.
Those highlights included The Chainsmokers taking the reigns for a last minute fill in on the main stage for what very well may have been their coming out party. One of thatDROP’s 5 EDM Artists to Watch in 2014, Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall were back it that very same night to close out on the 7x7up Stage where 300 lucky attendees, including us at thatDROP, were able to rage out in a personal and intimate setting that created one of the best musical atmospheres I have personally ever been a part of.
In addition to that, Zedd upheld his reputation by doctoring through masterfully crafted tracks on the mainstage, Marco Carola continued his legacy at the Carl Cox Mega Structure, Eric Prydz put on a set for the ages, Adventure Club stayed Gold at the Worldwide Stage before allowing Borgore to drop pure filth on everyone in attendance.
