The People of Tomorrow were not blessed with the best of weather during TomorrowWorld 2015. Rainy weather created wet and muddy conditions over the course of the weekend; but that didn’t stop thousands of dedicated EDM fans from packing festival each day to have the time of their lives. Attendees did their best to not let a little sloppy weather get in their way and ruin what they’ve been looking forward to since last year’s festival.

Despite the negative attention from all over the internet, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Instead of adding to the negativity geared towards our beloved festival, here are some reasons that we loved TomorrowWorld.

The Beautiful People of Tomorrow

TomorrowWorld is known for attracting fans from all around the world, and one could hear different languages spoken everywhere throughout the venue. In all honesty, there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing thousands of people from all over the world gather to show their love for electronic music.

The feeling of being completely surrounded by smiling faces and helping hands is absolutely incredible. It was truly like having thousands of long lost best friends that you didn’t even know you had.

The Production

TomorrowWorld’s spectacular production seems to get better with each passing year. There were mythical stage performers and uniquely decorated floats moving through the crowds, and the overall décor encompasses the feeling of being in a magical fairy tale.

The themed stages were nothing short of mesmerizing, and the massive main stage was a wall that contained moving parts and included jaw-dropping light and laser shows during performances.

At night, the main stage came to life with amazing firework shows for the closing headliners. The fan favorite Mythical Frames stage made a return from 2014, and there was even a boat stage. TomorrowWorld prides itself in delivering spectacular stage production, and even though the stages were massive, the DJ’s were still up close and personal which gave a more intimate feel with each set.

The Food

Move over corndogs and funnel cakes! TomorrowWorld raised the bar this year with its ultimate festival cuisine, and food provided was not your average festival dining experience.

They even premiered a sit-down restaurant featuring Atlanta’s Chef Kevin Gillespe, who was on the award winning reality television show, “Top Chef”. What other festival outside of EDC Las Vegas can provide a fine dining experience while watching incredible performances at a main stage?

Dreamville

The atmosphere in Dreamville is something special. Strangely enough, nothing beats being woken up mid-morning by someone yelling “CARL!” or random music being played at campsites to get everyone pumped up for the day’s festivities. Walking down the boardwalk you would see so many people dressed in their festival best, partying and carrying on before they go into the venue.

Dreamville is just a portion of the fun at TomorrowWorld. Everywhere you walked, there was a different party happening at all times throughout the day. Let us not forget the surprise afterparty in the Dreamville marketplace that went on until 5 a.m. on Monday morning; we came, we saw, and we raged.

The Music

TomorrowWorld’s had one of the most diverse lineups yet this year. Of course, they brought our favorite big name EDM headliners to the festival, but TomorrowWorld also brought in a lot of lesser known names as well. They focused on broadening everyone’s musical boundaries, and every stage you walked by would offer different genres to your ears.

They even brought in surprise guests like Ne-Yo during Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s set to sing their latest single, “Higher Place”, Sonny Wilson dropped by during Showtek, and there was even a person beat boxing before Bassnectar’s set. TomorrowWorld ensured to provide music for every EDM lover’s enjoyment.

TomorrowWorld Unites Us All

Of course, what would TomorrowWorld be without the unity of over 100k beautiful souls from all around the world? From the moment you step inside Dreamville to the second you walk into the massive venue, the unified feeling was palpable. People smiling, laughing, dancing, and having the time of their lives were such great sights to see.

For just a few short days, it felt as though there was world peace in our little haven that we call TomorrowWorld. One of the most amazing aspects of this festival is that you are never alone there, because when you are at TomorrowWorld, everyone is family.
