Kygo
22-year old Norwegian producer Kygo has been blowing up as fast as any artist in the game over the past few months.
Since gaining over 2 million plays with his remix of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing,” Kygo has been featured in a guest mix on Diplo & Friends as well as Ultra Music Festival’s official trailer, debuted his remix of Coldplay’s “Midnight” on BBC Radio One with Pete Tong, gained support from Avicii, announced his first North American Tour, and landed on the lineups of multiple electronic dance music festivals including The Hudson Project.
Not bad for just a couple of months.
His unique style is unlike very few sounds out there right now. Light, air-y, and upbeat, Kygo creates soothing remixes utilizing pianic melodies and elements of deep house that create a sound where you can’t help but smile and move your body.
