Lollapalooza 2014

Lollapalooza kicks off this Friday, August 1 at Grant Park on the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago hosting more than 160,000 attendees and 130 musical performances over three days. Having been sold out since shortly after tickets went on sale, this has been one of the most highly anticipated music festivals of the summer and thatDROP will be in the house.

The entire weekend is shaping up to be one of the best musically jam-packed events this festival season with Brillz and Jacob Plant holding it down on the electronic front from the very get-go on Friday and relentlessly carrying through until Skrillex closes out on Sunday night.

There will definitely not be a shortage of quality music on the East Side of Chicago this weekend.

The festival offers one of the most eclectic lineups of the summer with Eminem, Outkast, Kings of Leon, Skrillex, The Arctic Monkeys, and Calvin Harris headlining, representing nearly every genre of music throughout the lineup, from Rap and Pop to Deep House and Indie Rock. Electronic dance music is well represented from top to bottom with over thirty electronic music acts slated to perform. Our ears are tingling at the thought of the sounds they are about to consume.
